Tournament System
Preliminary qualifiers will be determined through a “win three consecutive matches” knockout format.
Players may enter from any round up to Round 4 of the total six rounds, and may participate multiple times.
Pairings will be determined in accordance with the JBS Swiss Tournament Regulations.

Eligibility
JBS members only.
Associate Members and Visitors may participate upon completing the Full Membership registration process.
Players who are still competing in other events are not eligible to participate.

JPY 3,000 per entry

Entry Procedure
Fill out the application form with your name and pay the required entry fee.
Cash only.
Participation Process
Player Registration Confirmation
Please make sure your name appears on the pairing sheet page for each round of the “32nd Meijin Tournament Satellite Preliminary.”
If your name is not listed, your registration has not been completed. Please contact the Tournament Executive Committee immediately.
Event Participation
Pairings will be announced at the start of each round.
Please check the pairing sheet and proceed to your designated board.
Matches should begin as soon as both players are present.
The winner must report the result to the Tournament Executive Committee.
Players are eliminated after one loss. Those who wish may re-enter.
